I am so excited to be starting this blog. Honestly, I have never done a blog before so this is all new. I am glad someone is taking the time to look at it! I thought since this is a new business, I needed to take some time and explain how Wicked Fancy came to be.
It all started several months ago, while planning a backyard boutique at my house. My husband and kids were there (running around of course—the kids, not my husband), all the vendors were dragging their products into the backyard, setting the tables up, driving around getting the signs put up all over the neighborhood—you know basically getting everything ready. We had a good turnout, some people sold a bunch of stuff and some sold nothing. Everyone put a ton of work into the boutique! As we were taking things down and cleaning up the backyard, my husband (who is a business coach by profession), thought to himself, “There has just got to be a better way!”. We started talking about it that night and the idea of Wicked Fancy was born.
We thought why not give ladies (vendors) the opportunity to sell their handmade, homemade, privately labeled products through a website. That way women (or men I guess if they really want to make their wives/girlfriends happy & buy them something cute) can grow their businesses or their hobbies and make extra money. Plus, women all over the US can see these one-of-a-kind, incredible products and have the opportunity to purchase them.
I am really excited about this business. It is still a work in progress as all new ventures are but we have over 260 unique products on the website right now. Incredible women with incredible talents being showcased and you get the chance to buy these items! The great thing about it is you can have a unique gift for you mom, sister, mother-in-law, best friend, or just for yourself and it will be unique! Check the website out and please know that we aim to please! Each vendor has different warranties but we all want you to be happy with your products and have you buy from Wicked Fancy again and again.
